How do I place an order?

Orders can be placed easily and only online at www.go-mo.ch. You need an official and valid identification document: identity card, passport or Swiss residence permit. Driving licenses are not accepted. To place an order, you must also be at least 18 years old and live in Switzerland or Liechtenstein.

Placing an order is incredibly easy! Visit www.go-mo.ch, fill out the registration form and have your identity verified. Your new SIM card will be sent to you within a few days.

I have placed an order. When will I receive it?

After successful verification of your identity, you will receive an email with your contract. You will then receive an email with the tracking number for your order. Usually, your order will be processed within 72 hours.

How does the identification with the ID Checker app work?

  1. After placing your order, click on the "Verify my identity" button or scan the QR code displayed on your computer screen using your smartphone.
  2. Scan your ID document.
  3. Make a video of yourself. You have to move your face slightly.

IMPORTANT: The ID checking process must be carried out without any interruption. If you interrupt the process, you have to start again from the beginning.

Which smartphones are compatible with the ID Checker app?

Identification via the secure ID Checker app is only compatible with the following phones:

  • iPhones with iOS 12 or higher: iPhone 6, iPhone 6+, iPhone 6S, iPhone 7, iPhone 7+, iPhone 8, iPhone 10, iPhone 11 and all recent iPhones.

Smartphones with the following Android systems and camera functions:

  • Marshmallow 6.0 – 6.0.1, camera API level 23
  • Nougat 7.0 – 7.1.1, camera API level 24-25
  • Oreo 8.0 – 8.1, camera API level 26-27
  • Pie 9, camera API level 28

Non-exhaustive list of the most common smartphones that use the Android systems mentioned above:

  • Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+, S9, S9+, S10, S10+, Note 8, Note 9, S20, S20+ & S20 Ultra 5G

Transfer of my number

How do I keep my current number?

If you provide us with a power of attorney during your GoMo SIM card order, we will take care of the transfer of your number from another provider. Simply complete the section "Transfer my number from another provider" on the order form. During the process of transferring your number, you will receive several SMS messages from us on the number to be transferred (i.e. your current number) with information on the transfer status.
