Placing & managing orders

Placing your order is easy and takes just a few minutes. Simply visit go-mo.ch and select ‘Order now’ to follow the instructions.

To proceed, you must be at least 18 years old, reside in Switzerland or Liechtenstein, and have a valid official ID—such as a Swiss ID card, Swiss passport, Swiss residence permit, or a foreign passport (driving licenses are not accepted).

Important: Make sure to enter your full name exactly as it appears on your official ID.

Once the order is complete, your SIM card will be delivered within a few days.

Once your identity has been successfully verified, you will receive your SIM card within a few days.

If you are unable to complete the ID check online, don't worry, a Swiss Post employee will carry out the verification in person when delivering your SIM card. The online ID verification is free of charge. Verification carried out in person by Swiss Post is subject to a fee of CHF 19.95.

After placing your order, you will receive an email with a link to start the identity verification. Click the “Verify my identity” button or scan the QR code displayed on your computer screen using your smartphone.

Then, follow these steps:

  • Scan your official ID document.
  • Record a short video of yourself, moving your face slightly.

Important: Complete the process in one go, if interrupted, you will need to restart from the beginning.

If you are unable to complete the ID check online, don't worry, a Swiss Post employee will carry out the verification in person when delivering your SIM card. The online ID verification is free of charge. Verification carried out in person by Swiss Post is subject to a fee of CHF 19.95.

Please contact us via chat as soon as possible so we can update your email details.

If you want to keep your number, fill out the section “Keep my current number” on the order form. We will handle the rest for you.

You will receive SMS updates on your current number with the transfer status during the process.

Don’t worry. You can still complete the transfer by downloading and submitting a Power of attorney (POA) form (PDF) to authorise the transfer.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a two-step security process that requires you to confirm your identity using two different methods: your password plus a code sent to your phone or email.

This extra step helps protect your account from unauthorised access, keeping your personal information and service safe even if your password is compromised.

The next time you log in to MyGoMo, enter your phone number or email address, then follow the on-screen instructions to set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Wi-Fi Calling

When making calls within the country, Wi-Fi Calling via Wi-Fi ensures you always have optimal reception, even indoors where there is no mobile network coverage.

When calling and texting abroad, you can avoid roaming costs with Wi-Fi Calling: Calls and SMS via Wi-Fi Calling are charged at the same tariff as within Switzerland.

Important: To ensure that your mobile phone does not connect to a mobile network, we recommend that you first activate airplane mode and then the Wi-Fi.

You can find the list of compatible mobile phones with Wi-Fi Calling, as well as the manufacturer's instructions, on our device support page

To activate Wi-Fi Calling, go to your phone’s settings and enable the "Wi-Fi Calling" option. Make sure you're connected to a Wi-Fi network.

Voicemail

To activate your voicemail, type **004*086[your number]# on your smartphone and press the call button.
For example, if your number is 078 123 45 67, enter: **004*0860781234567#.

You can temporarily deactivate your voicemail, for example, to avoid roaming charges while travelling, by entering ##002# or ##004# on your smartphone keypad and pressing the call button.

Callers won’t be able to leave a message, but you will still receive an SMS with their number.

No worries! With GoMo, you benefit from extremely attractive roaming tariffs to stay connected without surprises.

We also recommend using Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi Calling whenever possible.

Plus, you can set limits on internet usage and calls abroad to stay in control of your spending.

Go to MyGoMo, Subscriptions > Configuration > Roaming cost management, and click on "Edit".

With GoMo+ you have 5GB of internet allowance in the Europe zone. Once the 5GB are used up, the Data DayPass will activate automatically. You can deactivate it at any time or buy other roaming packages via the Cost Control cockpit or via MyGoMo.

If you exceed your high-speed data allowance, the speed will be reduced to 128 Kbit/s.

You cannot use youra GoMo subscription for roaming in satellite zones.

Data DayPass

If you use internet in a country where you have no included data volume or have already used up your included data volume, the Data DayPass will be automatically activated without any action on your end. You will enjoy unlimited internet access, including 1 GB at high-speed. After 1 GB, the speed is reduced to 128 kbit/s.

The Data DayPass is only charged on the first connection to the foreign mobile network and is valid for 24 hours. You will be notified by SMS with all relevant information about the offer and its follow-up.

Simply make sure you have your roaming data activated and your roaming limit is set to minimum CHF 50.-.

The price of the Data DayPass option in the EUROPE zones is CHF 4.95, CHF 9.95 in the TRAVEL & WORLD zones, and CHF 19.95 in the FAR zone, valid for 24 hours from the first use.

This option is activated by default with GoMo+.

If you do not wish to use the Data DayPass option by default, you can simply deactivate it in MyGoMo or via our Cost Control cockpit.

The Data DayPass option can be deactivated at any time in MyGoMo.

Upon activation, you will receive an SMS with all the information about the Data DayPass and a link with the information on how to deactivate it.

Voicemail

No setup is required; your voicemail works normally while abroad.

If you want to avoid roaming charges, you can temporarily deactivate it.
